so salt water is what makes monster bichirs! back in the earlier days in the site, I think i've heard that bichirs can also be kept in brackish waters.
I used to think bichirs can do well in brackish water and only ropefish can. However I keep mine in brackish water and they do fine also develop more vibrant colors.
