How long would a planiveps last in a 625gallon circukar pond? Is their fast growth rate constant or does it slow down once it reaches a certain size? Would a fila be better? Nvm just saw ur sold out

Okay as I've received various questions regarding these fish, in particular the cats. These guys are ALL Monster fish, and attain large sizes, all be it at different growth rates. The Planiceps grow fairly quickly, however due to their shape (long and slender) they do not make good companions for a similar sized red tail...After the 12" size as with most 'monster' fish, they become better able to hold their own.

The Filamentosum are a beautiful fish, that grows quite large, but at a slow growth rate for a large cat.

Jau grow at a good rate, and have BIG appetites. They have been known to become aggressive/territorial. I havent had issues, however I kept mine in a large pond and it liked to hide.

Fila and Planiceps Like to swim around are active cats, Jau like to hide.

As mentioned in my previous post, I do actually have some Fila's that free'd up. Both for Fila and Planiceps a 625 gallon should suffice for atleast a year, longer for the Fila. What is the Diameter?

8 feet...would the planiceps be okay with pbass?

Yes, however, as posted these cats are small. They are 2-4" on average, so the cichla would have to be young as well (I wouldn't go over 5"...unless you want to provide some expensive feeders to your Bass ;)
