I think the guy with 50 tanks is a decent friend.
He had this picked-on convict and knows FuriousFish. SOoo, he also knows the fish will be appreciated and cared for.
FF wanted a convict to go with jewels, & a "Royal Marbled" female sounds like a perfect fit to me!
$25.00 for a nice healthy fish, plus a 55G, is no rip-off. The friend gave a generous deal, in a way that put all focus on the little fish, instead of tooting a big horn about doing something nice.
Too many MFKers are oblivious to the sentiment that one fish can be Royally cherished.

It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Bethchya very few critics are making those kinds of deals. I feel kind of sad, after considering this from a more objective viewpoint.

I'm glad FuriousFish got the deal.

+1 the friend shouldn't misrepresent fish if he is aware it was a normal convict but he may not be aware of that. $25 for a 55 and any fish is a great deal especially if it's fully set up. Nice pickup and enjoy!

Lets just call CSI, get a blood sample, do a DNA test and settle this once and for all....wait, since that isnt possible, and the deal is done anyhow, why not just be happy for the guy that got a beautiful fish and a tank for $25?
