Yeah, not my finger though, we used to catch them and put them in glass jars.......we'd tap the jars to piss them off and the mantis shrimp would break the glass. My friend picked it up and it cut of the tip of his finger!!!!!!! He's fine now though his finger nail grows really funny looking.
The mantis shrimp has the fastest movement in the animal kingdom. When it throws aout its claws you can't even see it happen its so fast!!
