I was planning on keeping bettas in 2 (2.5 gallon aquariums) and then breed them in a 10 gallon. But now Im looking for different options for (2) 2.5 gallon aquariums and (1) 10 gallon? Something unique/rare!

Wait, profitable shrimp? Sounds like a plan. What kinds are like that? Purely for looking at of course. Not for, ahem, selling or anything.

you might be able to get away with having some indostomus paradoxus in there, which would be awesome because those are some really cool tiny fish (3 cm max), although a slightly bigger tank would be better for the sake of water stability, as you don't want to risk losing them because they are pretty rare afaik.

crystal shrimp of grade SSS are among the most valuble. the ranking is C, B, A, S, SS, SSS. The Higher the grade the more white it has in it. Most sold ones are grade B, A, or rarely S. To get the valuble ones you'd likely need to get in touch with a breeder

Some freshwater shrimp can be a great breeding project--some of the fancier ones go for hundreds of dollars (believe it or not).

Amazing! I wonder who in the heck is buying them & the how much of a market there is?..
There must be a reason for those prices, some kind of difficulty to the process.
