I'll get you the name tonight, unless its different, we have a wolf fish that basically looks like that ones older brother.

5-6" now, and he's selling for 30 bucks :)

Could be very wrong though :)

you are very very very wrong accually, you may have the same genus (hoplias) but aimara are rare and large growing hoplias rarely imported to the u.s, mabey 10 in total so far here. your probably selling a mala- very common wolf fish. different strains of aimara go for insane prices. this may be sao felix or something way rarer.

it's obviously a mala or a red fin wolf- (not true wolf there not hoplias). i've never seen a TRUE aimara imported under 12", and that would take 1500+. would you sell a fish that cost you that much for $30. No.

Yeah, that's definately an aimara. And depending on the river it's from it could be a very fair price. It looks kind of like a sao felix to me.

not red fin wolf.
looks like more aimaras out there. :grinno:

i'm guessing your saying it's not a redfin to me, and i will refer you and ask you to accually read the thread before posting such dumb comments:D

Nice fish, but in NO WAY would I EVER pay that much for a fish. I'm amazed at how much some people will charge for a fish and even more amazed that some people will fork out that much money for a fish.
