You have to be the master because you're the only one who has successfully kept a BBgrouper alive for more than 2 months in freshwater.
I wonder how much longer he will last in freshwater? Are you adding any salt at all?
One thing I notice is how small he is for how old he is. I wonder if the freshwater stunts their growth. Either way he looks really good and I hope he continues to thrive. Good job. When is the next full tank feeding video?
He's actually really big, at 22" and I only feed him twice a week. If I fed him daily, he'd be double the size. I was watching a video on a farm where they breed these guys, the reach about 36" in 3-4 years and weight about 30 pounds. Mine is only 2 years old plus. Remember this is not the big one that I've had in the store. this is the one that Vince returned to me before I sold the shop, he returned it to me in salt water, said it was doing poorly. I brought him back to health and had to keep him in a 5 gallon bucket for a few weeks, with a sponge filter, he was only about 4" at that time. Then one day I just dripped him into my 720 gallon over a couple of hours and dumped him in. I thought my nile perch was going to eat him, as they were 14" or so already, they chased him around a little, but in no time he caught up in size.
Most recently, he ate a 10-11" new guinea datnoid that I bought from Milkman "Matt" from Florida, he can attest to the size of that datnoid. But 2 days later, he spit it out, and it was foul!!!
I am looking for a new home for him, maybe a pond or huge tank, as I have other plans with my current tank. Thinking....

WOW awsome fish..The wild oscars are now my 2nd most wanted fish =]]My 1st is and albino eel....I don't care what type...Preferably Fire =]]LOL...
