... its true. before hwne the USSR still existed, they bred sturgeon for caviar. When the USSR fell apart, they stopepd breeding sturgeon so people, still obsessed with caviar, overfished the sturgeon which decreased it numbers dramatically... I live in massachusetts and only about 3 sturgeon migrate into massachusetts' rivers every year (yes about 3... its that low)
Thanks for the kind words. I've had many opportunities to buy paretroplus sp. before, but never did, however I am really fond of those Malgasy fish, if opportunity arises, I'll jump on it this time! I really like the paretroplus nourisatii, that's a fish I wouldn't pass up!
I live and fish around the toronto area,but i've never caught 1 like that but i've caught lots of pumpkin seed sunfish that look a lot like that but i dont think there the same thing
