So what do you guys consider rare fish or what are some types of rare fish you have or know about also try to put pictures for me i think one of the rarest fish are asian arowana

Theres a bunch of fish rarer than asian aros. This question has been asked time and time again and the response is always, "what do you consider rare?". Theres rare in the hobby, rare in the world, rare in your area vs mine, etc. Price doesnt always mean theyre rare, asian aros are actually quite common outside of the US theyre just expensive. Some of the rarest bass Ive ever owned were cheaper than common ones
In the world, who knows? Theres probably 10,000 species undocumented if not more. If you want to speculate I guess the Coelacanth which was originally thought to have died off millions of years ago until a few were found deep in the ocean. In the hobby it all depends on what the importers near you can get. Whats rare for you might not necessarily be rare for me. But if you live in florida theres a lot you cant have so id suspect some of those to be rare for your area
One fish I know of that is extremely rare in the hobby but not in certain areas of the country is the Tripletail.I guess I will have to go and catch one myself unless Wes brings some in someday LOL!
