No african,black,jardini,lechardti, and every other fish in family of bony tongues are illegal without a permit in florida and african aros are actually in the arapiama family also too bad asian aros are illegal in the whole usa ??

glad to see youve been doing some solid research! But yes unfortunately. But arowana take massive set ups anyway. If you want something similar for that 55g youre making you could see if african butterfly fish are legal there
