rare moray id please

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Its not a freshwater moray. we actually have one of those to that we converted to sw. it does not have pectoral fins. imagine the look of a green moray but instead of that velvety green its dark gray/blue. it look like a loong round eel. doesnt have a noticable dorsal fin either.

If you want an ID you've gotta post clear pictures... a description is never going to work, particularly with Moray eels.

ok here is a head shot. this animal is impossible to photograph its entire body hes alwys burried deep under rock. he has no fins. no visible dorsal fin. sleek round body all uniform color to the dark shade of his head. u can compare him in one pic to our gymnothorax tile.SAM_3582.JPGSAM_3581.JPG

the eel has no pectoral fins, but does have a dorsal fin though not a high one like the active piscivores (G moringa etc)

Is it the gray moray eel I know they are uncommon
