I appreciate all the ideas guys sorry for my lag in replies. I'm up for various lakes. i'm looking for something i could do a colony of. Price is an issue but not a large one. in most cases i think the price would be worth it. will deffinetly think about the p.nyererei.

Cynotilapia afra Cobwe 'Orange Back Albino' how about these guys? any idea. i know they are expensive on this site like 59 a piece but do you think there is a market if i could get them breeding? its not about the money but would like to know the babies have a place to go.

The albino Cobwe are nice, and there will probably be a market for them. I know one of the guys that is working with the original strain of these. He is working with the albino carriers and the actual albino juveniles. Are they worth $60 each - heck no. That is a rip off. That's 3X's what you would probably pay for wild Cobwe....

That strain was developed by a local from some F0 so unless your friend bought some from Texas it is probably not the same strain. The $60 price is for a fully colored nice male. The smaller grow outs are $25. I would be interested to see pics of the strain your friend is working with.
