So it's legit? Wow, I'm surprised! I didn't even think that these two species could interbreed. So I apologize for doubting. I guess I judge Craigslist ads too quickly. I've seen some really insane things posted there. I hope the member that has this fish will post pics on this thread.

Hey guys, I contacted the guy with the fish. He's a member here, not a troll, and is selling arg x dovii hybrids. From the pics he sent me I'd say he's legit. It's a hybrid. Looks kinda like a white fenestratus with a slight predatory look to it.

Whats his ID? Looks like he should be posting pictures of the parents and fry then. The way he was making it sound those were his parents. I have seen that Argentena here as well, but don't remember who it belonged too.

Thanks for posting the pics. It has an interesting look. I wonder if another member will end up with this hybrid. I'm still stunned that these two fish can interbreed. I'm sure more details about this fish will surface over time.

Damn I missed the CL ad.

There are some photos floating around of a white dovii...I'll see if I can dig them up. That photo of the dovii in the add is CHC's dovii...

Here it is. White dovii. Ask Aquamojo the story. He got the photo from Ron Coleman. I believe it was wild caught, but ended up dying at a young age.

That's exactly how my RD looked like when I 1st got him.
He's since faded/peeled & now is a deep red/orange.
