Definitely looks a lot better than the Red, IMO
 
Man! I was hoping you had a female! I need a female for my male! Can't find any more of them. Don't really want to breed him out to a red if I can help it! Great fish! Definitely gives me something to look forward too!

sorry i havent seen a female of this vareity in a long long time, i am actually curious to see what happens if these are bred to a red morph, what will the babies be a red morph or green-

if i am not mistaken, the color is passed down similar to how the barred midas/ and red midas.
 
Yeah, the first batch would be mostly reds, but you would have to take one of the juv. from the first batch and breed them back to the father. Hopefully that will provide mostly greens.

I had eight of them, but gave six away, and the two I had left turned out to be males. :( Unfortunately one of them died as well. Oh well, I'll keep looking! Awesome fish man!!

You should contact The_Mule....he lives up that'a way, and is into cool, rare fish.
