Picked up a pair of Tilapia bythobates at the ACA convention. They're from Lake Bermin in Africa.
Rarest cichlid

Well up here in Alaska there are alot of fish that are rare LOL. But i have a Wild pair of Grammodes, 3 F1 Rivulatus(Peru), and two pair of Haitiensis. These guys were really hard to find and expensive when i did.
My rarest cichlid... either my A. Hongsloi, Rotkeil Sev, or Blue Acara. I'm not really sure if they are considered rare though.

I use to have a wild caught albino oscar. I actually caught him in Florida, and what made him rare was his size. He was actually almost 9 inches long and for a fish to reach that size in the wild would be amazing given the disadvantage he would have colorwise. My guess is that he was dumped not too long before i caught him. Cool fish, had pictures when i caught him and eventually sold him to the LFS. Mean as hell that fish was and always made for a good story.
