Rarest Fish(es) in the Hobby?

here in aus, the raret fish are seriously ALL the good ones...

Aro's, Clown knife, Datnoids, giant gouramis, snakeheads (although i found a local breeder)and many many more! aussies really get the s h i t end of the stick when it comes to fish!

thats one of the good things about the uk, because the weathers so poor we dont have any probs with laws on keeping aggressive predators
the pair of c.barca that dixon mentioned have now winged their way to japan and it does seem that the `centres of excellance` for rare fish around the world are japan and germany, money doesnt seem to be an object!

Just about every species of Epinephelus sp. grouper is called lapu-lapu in the PI.
