oh, a coelacanth. That's REAL original. And is everyone always like oooh! coelacanths! n They're old! Folks, it's like a medium sized lungfish grossed with a grouper. Other than being hard to find, they're not that special.

I assume you mean't that I was "really" original. If you don't like that particular fish that is fine. If you want to flame me for my interests, fine. That unoriginal specimen is the only specimen with lobed fins. It is credited with being among the fish that evolved into land creatures. If you would like to have an opinion, then at least have a valid one, and try not to bash other people who appreciate things that you don't.

As far as the eels being able to be found I thought this was rare fish not impossible fish. I would say that a 999$ and up price range puts it in the rare market.

The blue ring is definitely not a "come and pet me" type of pet LOL.
A mimic would be sweet I love when they do their stingray imitation.

I like your pick ewurm :clap Not many people know the story of that fish you should post it somewhere for our enjoyment and enlightenment

Lets get some more rare fish in here there are a ton more

Under Stingrays , a rare specimen would be the P Garrapa
I have never seen anybody have one in their private collection although
in japan there may be a pic that could be a garrapa

Here are some pics ..

Heres a Close Up Pic of A Garrapa

A Garrapa Versus a Henleii

Finally a Japanese website with a Garrapa

It could very well be that this stingray is a particular morph of one of the black rays
or a hybrid , but since i havent read any literature proving that, i will count the Garrapa as one of the rarest rays.

i have a few of them ;)
