Mine came frozen in the bag upside down. I Floated him for an hour and I came In and he was back to life .

No, on the right is the O eigenmanni and on the left is a striped raphael.

8in but most likely not that large in captivity.

I would've thought they'd get bigger like 1' to 1.5'

Even striped raphaels only get 6in maybe. Spotted raphaels are usually only 4-5in. I do have a monster female spotted that is probably 8in.

It’s a small marine scorpionfish that is very rarely sold - it’s almost entirely luck if the lfs gets one in.
