What about the polypterus koloton?

For rarity??? not so rare like before.. Imo everything is pretty much available besides , Monster sen's and WC teugs, Plats and the Tubby SB's

A long time ago, I saw an Albino Ropefish for sale on Aquabid.com. It was $300.00 and at the time, way out of my price range. I never saw another since. I surfed the net, but other than folks asking if they ever saw one, it seems that was the only one i ever heard of on the market. If they exist on the market, IMO, THAT would be the rarest bicher.

When I saw the auction, I had owned both, regular Senegal and E. calabaricus. The auction was advertised as an albino rope, and the picture was of a white rope fish with red eyes. Too bad I did not save the picture. Never saw another again. Not even a platinum rope. That would be cool as well.

Its really interresting to read this thread and compare to us here in sweden. The ones that are hardest to find here seems to be the SP´s like Dabolo, koliba, koloton etc, WC weeksi and WC Moke´s are rarely seen in the suppliers lists, but it happens. PBB`s and congicus is really hard to find even if i know about like 5-6 pbb´s and a couple of congicus here (imported from africa).

The ones that is the easiest to find here are the regulars like Senegalus/albino senegalus, Endy´s, Ornates, Lap´s, Ansorgiis, Polli, Delhezi and so on. But we have had WC teugs, WC Retros, WC ornates and WC delhezi on the swedish suppliers stock lists for quite some time now. Some ppl used to import pollys to so its not hard to fins WC endys, laps etc either =).
