Rarest ray in the hobby right now?

Just looking for opinions on what the rarest rays in the hobby are right now?
Exclude albinos or any other freaks .

I don't remember the name of it but the one with the huge denticles(sp?) all over its body that are very spikey

i would say boesomani still quite rare..not many ppl have it.. even in this part of the world.

Constantella ray are white rays from brazil just like xingu sp humerosa scobinas ect.. Thus the rarity in the hobby.


I'm think tiger ray is the rarest long term.i never seen breeders besides dws group. Nobody has any long term. Every body can get tigers on lists but does anybody actually have any longer than a few years

yup, Constellata. I can never see enough pictures of those rays which sucks because I have only seen like 1 or 2 pictures of them. Very cool ray and I would imagine very rare in the hobby considering I don't know anyone on here who has one.

@ calgaryflames: I was breeding tiger rays some years ago, the pup in my avatar was the last female we bred

potamotrygon brachyura also rare i think, haven't seen more than 1-2 in captivity.
