Really makes you wonder where values go. I wouldn't be able to look at a fish and know I stole it, also seems it would be easy to spot someone selling that many fish locally. We have a couple japanese gardens near my house full of koi and goldfish and I have wondered if they have those problems located in public parks where anyone can walk up to the pond.
It amazes me how brash people are. My trek mountain bike got stolen this summer when I took my dogs out to the beach. Sure enough a few weeks later I saw a woman on it a block from my house and ran her down on foot and called the police. Even though I had engraved my name and number into the frame she still claimed it was hers until the end. Teaching middle school this year alone I have had my 120gig portable HD and cell phone both stolen. I always try to trust people, seems to be getting me more often though.
