Yep,good looking and stable dat.
 
Stable is wht you dat is!! When all his lines and color are bold.

In many cases Dat's "stableness" (lol) can change for many reasons such as when they are stressed.

That is a very nice Dat!!!
 
And what's it mean to be stable? I see people saying they have stable/non stable dats?

Datniodes microlepis is considered brackish by many in the hobby. Others say it is not, but agree that a little salt in the water helps with it long term, and diminishes stress.
When they say stable, they mean it isn't stressed out. The fish is easy to stress from a number of things including water quality and lack of cover or spots to hide. If it is provided a healthy environment, it won't be stressed and it will show its best color and pattern, like yours. The same is true for all fish, but a Datniod gets dark or washed out and it is really obvious.
Anyway, I wish I could have one, they are very cool, and yours is a very nice specimen.

Appreciate it! I add aquarium salt with every other water change. Hope it's been helping, but why I wonder will no other fish mess with it even tho he is mouth size to all of them
