A pair being a male and female for $50 is a very good deal, where I live I sell unsexed offspring between $30 and $40. The male has great coloring and a nice dorsal fin, the female is exceptional looking too, they will both color up with age, so be prepared they will blow your mind!
that's a great deal.... the male is a little long, but he's gonna grow into it. he's gonna look good, if you give it some tlc

I think u got a decent deal on your fh's. they look good to me, i am no expert but it's still small, feed it some shrimp or krill or even chingmix color booster or some sort and see how they turn up. THey must be worth 50.00 if you bought it right? It's really not what others think about your fish. It's what you like and wanting to buy. Good luck!
