and just for guys to know...the true green terror and gold saum live in two different parts of south america and are two different fish.....

"Green Terror" is a common name for the Aequidens sp. 'Gold Saum'/'White Saum' varieties, Aequidens rivulatus, and the supposed true "Green Terror", Aequidens sp. 'silbersaum'.

We weren't getting stupid with you, we were pointing out the fact that whilst you have made a reasonably correct observation, you were not entirely in the right. I could give you a million better reasons why common names are mostly useless, but this isn't a half bad example in itself.

It's aright. I would give it a 7.5

But don't worry, I usually grade fish harshly. A grade A fish for me needs to just pop out and be stunning.

If it just had a bigger hump and nicer shine.

The truth is that there is no written description for the fish called "green terror" and no rules governing the use of common names, so if this guy wants to call his fish a green terror he is perfectly entitled to. If he claimed it was Aequidens rivulatus you might have something to argue about...

Oh, and to answer the original question, I'd say 8.5. Its got good colours, lots of orange, nice patterns and looks in good condition, but its just not (yet) as big and chunky as some I've seen. Keep looking after it, give it some time and you'll have a beautiful example of Aequidens cf. rivulatus.

out of most of the gts ive seen id have to give yours a 9.0. nice fish.
