i would say a 7, because there's room for improvement.
i'll start with the substrate. since u have light colored rocks, it'll look much better if u contrast that with a dark substrate.
also, the fake plants are just not doing it. african cichlids tanks don't need plants to look good.

the rock is TEXAS HOLEY ROCK its pretty cool stuff. it also is very high in calcium and it slowely dessolves. this stuff is great for creating a nice PH for african cichlids. <beware> do not buy in LFS go to a landscape company its a 1/3 of the price. you will however have to clean it and bleach it yourself
