Rate my V. Synspilum..please

My 6" Syn was placed for 1 week in my sump, allowing time for my 10" loach to heal. I placed more driftwood, lowered the temp from 82 to 80F. Within minutes of being placed back into my tank he was harassing and biting my large clown loach almost relentlessly. He just hates my loach, and my loach is an easy, helpless target in my 170G. Maybe it just hates the largest fish in the tank, but it leaves my 10" Flagtail alone. It's gotta go! Too bad.

I have a pair I bought a couple weeks ago and they aren't eating much yet either. Pretty timid at feeding time... They have really great color IMO, but I want to get them nice and fat, because right now I think they are a bit on the thin side.
 
Here's my big boy. Eats like an absolute hog (regardless of the food). Around 11-12".
