Thanks, my biggest problem with taking pics for my avatar is that even if it looks extremely good at full size, most times it doesn't look nearly as good once it has been resized. The pic I am using now is extremely clear, one of the best pics I've ever taken, but you can't really tell from looking at it in my avatar. I think if I had some kind of photo-editing software I could probably make it look better by darkening the background, but unfortunately I don't.
