i have always dreamed of getting a planted tank but never managed to maintain it well,the plants always die,even though i switch on the lights 24/7.how do you guys keep the plants alive for so long?

You have discus in your FIRST TANK?

I Would do (or eat) so many things to get discus!
Is the water changes once a week true
