They do look very thin. The anterior half of the body looks really large compared to the back half. The belly also looks sunken. The fish should be more robust, like this.

Also I wouldn‘t trust on male and female. Vent them before you buy them.
I got a feeling you will end with two females otherwise ?

I disagree on the good looking part. Regardless of colour, they look sickly and very, very skinny. Maybe just being underfed for a long time, maybe internal parasites, who knows...but personally not fish I would buy myself.
