Hey everyone. I was looking into getting a few Senegal bichirs and just wanted some opinions on the stock I plan to add to my 75 gallon. I have always been into oddball fish and figured Polys were a good choice for my size tank.

2 or 3 - Senegal bichir
1 - Peter's elephant nose
1 - African or Ghost knife
4-5 - Congo tetras
Also I would like to get some sort of catfish.

Need some opinions and some possible changes you all would do.

if you can get ahold of them get delhezi or palmas polli rather than plain senegals, id definitely go with the african over the ghost knife for size purposes and up the amount of congos from 5 to 8, also would swap the elephant nose for a leaf fish

Looks good to me. The only swap I'd make would be to swap the senegals for ornates, but thats personal preference.

I'd swap the elephant nose for something else since knife fish and elephant noses both use weak electrical pulses to maneuver around/find food and sometimes that can mess them up when their electrical signals are colliding...lots of people keep multiple knife fish in the same tank though so its up to you. Knife fish can also be pretty territorial, especially when they are bigger and older. The knife fish and elephant nose may fight for the same territory.

personal preference and the fact ornates can get over 20" and its a 75g lol

Ok, so i've updated my stock...
1 x Peters elephant nose
2 x Polypterus Delhezi
8 x Congo tetra
1 x Synodontis Catfish
I prefer the Elephant nose over the knife, as I know that they will most likely not do well together. I also like the patterns on the delhezi better then the senegals.
Also looking for one more oddball fish to add that isn't a spotted climbing perch. Need some suggestions
