Picked this guy up. Apologies for the picture quality. What grade is he? How would you rate him?

The grade of your fish depends on what you think of him, if you want a fish for the only reason being it’s a high quality that you can show off ( not saying you are) then you aren’t a true hobbyist and don’t deserve fish. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. If you ask me you have a beautiful FH and remember, grade is an opinion
Imo I would rate this guy as a A grade. Not the cream of the crop but still a looker none the less. Great finnage and pearling, kok is big but not too big and his flower line is nearly straight. Definitely loses allot of points for the lack of red coverage tho. Granted take all of this with a grain of salt as I am no competition judge and only grading based off of what the strain is supposed to look like. I assume yours is a ZZ Red Dragon so that's what I graded it on.

Grade is not an opinion. Grade is irrelevant outside of showing and breeding though. Ask for your fish to be graded at some kind of competition, asking people to grade a fish with no widely recognized standard is ridiculous. That's when you'll get a dozen people telling you a dozen different things.
It's a good pet fish, what more do you need from it?
