Rattlesnake force feeding

Thanks everyone for the comments and thank you Chris for telling me how to embed a video and Citrinellus for embedding it for me.

If you own a car then you own something even more dangerous than a rattlesnake. So long as you know how to work with them you will be okay but just like in a car, there are a million things that could go wrong. I had to force feed them because these were unexpected and the female was not ready to give birth so when she did all of the babies were essentially runts (one of them being no larger than a pencil) and because of this some of them did not eat on their own and we had to get them started, usually after one or two assisted feedings they will start to eat on their own.

So these are from your accidental breeding?

yep. The only thing I can think of is that they bred while I put them together to clean one of their cages.

Im curious what it was you were force feeding them.

Gerber baby food. Turkey and gravy I think. I als watered it down with pedalite and gave them about 1.5 cc's each
