Ray feet issues!

I have seen this quite common in captive bred rays as well as new imports. Ive watched them with my own eyes swim the wall and when they come down some times the disc can end up under the flipper as they are moving their disc. I have never seen any signs of discomfort in any of the rays and it always goes back under pretty quickly and easily. I wouldnt worry about it at all.
 
i have seen this on my motoro i have now a few times.. a few good kicks and the foot goes back under... never thought of it to be a problem.... my ray is captive bred too......

Thanks for the affirmation all, I just worry that the joint or part where it overlaps the disc might become irritated and eventually rubbed raw and infected.

BTW - This is not a regular ray, it is deformed....
