Ray from Jacks

As G shock said, if you want to keep them they need to be in salt water. That ray was probably caught in brackish water as they do migrate inland. With the limited amount of water in the home aquarium you will definitely need good filtration and plan on the salt water set up.

D. Sabina are saltwater fish. They can somewhat tolerate low salt content by producing 10 times as much urea as they would normally, meaning you would need 10 times the amount of water to actually survive. Your sabina probably drowned itself in its own ammonia in that week...

this!

if you have motoros already and they're in the 125g you speak of, I would worry more about finding a much larger tank than adding another ray to it.

Not trying to sound like I know it all. Becuz I don't. I'm just starting to get into ray keeping. But I'm a little annoyed at every1 on here yelling about sand sand sand!! Yes I do have sand in my tank and yesi believe sand is better. BUT I've been to the boston aquarium and mystic aquarium (I'm sure those places know wut they r doing) and they both have fresh water rays in gravel

I have kept rays on gravel and bare bottom with no problems. Sand is more natural but there are lots of issues that come with sand. Rays in the wild live on sticks, rocks, sand, mud, gravel, you name it. The only worry is if the rocks are sharp they might hurt the disk because the ray cannot move off of them

I think part of the sand comments come from the fact that rays like to bury themselves when they're scared. Sand makes it easier for them to do so.

Especially compared to the large rocks in the pictures from the original poster.
