lah lah land.
One of my rays has fungus on her tail. I noticed it about a week ago and added salt raised the temp to 84. Its gotten a little better but wont fully go away. I woke up this morning and noticed a little spot on my other female as well. Suggestions? I've been doing a ton of water changes, like 50% every other day. The nitrate comes out of my tap at 15ppm, so I never have perfect nitrates. Does that have something to do with it? Any advice would be appreciated.

i got rid of my rays fungus from shipping with daily 75% wc and i made sure to get all the fungus pices when i cleaned it...

Sounds like your on the right track. When I got my wild male he had a bit of fungus on him. Wa/wa changes and salt go a long way. Havent used med's in years so no help there.

I'm thinking I'm a little overstocked which is adding to the problem. I'm gonna bump my water changes up to 75%. The fungus has actually gotten a little worse.

Does anyone know of a ray-safe fungal med? I'm gonna have to separate her and treat. 10 days of frequent water changes and salt has pretty much done nothing. The last 3 days have been 75% changes. Should I just stick it out? How long does fungus take to go away?

What are the active ingredients of that med?

i tried jungle clear on my ray, but daily wc and getting all the fungus chunks out with each wc is what cleared my rays fungus...it took a few days, but each day it got less and less...if i missed a day the fungus came back thicker...
