  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i had one that some one had for two years she did well then refused food for two weeks. unfortunately she died about a month later i could not imagine 52 days. good luck Pat i hope it pulls threw. some people think rays are a easy fish to keep then there are situations like this that happens. i personally think there is so much to learn i know mine are constantly keeping me on my toe's

Thanks everyone. Sorry about the slow response; getting the store open has taken every waking moment of my time.

Colin- This is a ray I bought from you some time ago. She is one of the four that I traded to Brad last summer. I recently bought all of them back.

This ray was plump and healthy when I got her back from Brad. She had been captive for at least 2 years. I can only assume the transport didn't agree with her, or the ordeal of getting her stinger loose from a net may have really upset her. The other 3 I bought with her had no problems at all. She's still eating smelt and I think she's going to make it.

I'll keep everyone posted.

Some rays are real stubborn, either they are too stupid to accept something new or it's something wrong with their body (internal parasites?). I've lost a pair of P.menchacai because they wouldn't eat a thing, it really stress me out to see them rejecting me everytime I feed something to them.
