marbles are from columbia..regular motoros are from peru.search for the thread "post your best marble"..the diffrence will be clear.some folks have some awfully nice marble motoros..nearly as nice as brazilian pearls or nicer in some cases
Not necessarily. Theres also regular motoros coming out of columbia as well. Difference is in pattern.

I would have said regular motoro but with nice markings.

I agree that you need to bulk her up with as many food types as possible as you can see her pelvic bones. If she eats well but does not put on weight then you may need a parasite cure.

Get some worms from a bait shop and try pellets (carnivore or massivore) and then add in mussel, krill, whitebait, sprats etc....

Yes, she is very skinny. I tried carnivore pellets and market shrimp last night. I'm going to try them now again and head out to get some earthworms and whatever else I you guys suggest.

About how long should I leave food in the tank before I take it out? SHe hovers over the shrimp and pellets but doesn't go for them yet. I'm headed out to get some earthworms when the wife gets home.

When you get her on earthworms you feed here with that for a few days, so she gets the taste of it.. Then you chop earthworms up and have it in a bag or something with small pieces of shrimp, so the shrimp will smell just like the worms, and then you only feed her with the shrimps.. Motoros usualy goes for the trick very fast..

I still have an 6 month old yepezi i just cant seem to trick, he is hopeless..only worms and red muscito larvae, its annoying, and you dont want it :)

Leave the food in for an hour or three..

Rays dont say no to worms. But be careful where u get ur worms. There are terrible horror stories about earthworms, I'd get her on the shrimp asap if u can.
