Small yepezi do not have the full pattern of mature yepezi and don't have the squiggly lines. They usually develop it with age. I have seen juvenile false yepezi myself and they look almost exactly like this ray.

They're actually a whitish color with black spots. Almost like Oreo ice cream. The color of the water just makes them look drab in the photo.

Agreed. Wild rays arent very easy to get eating prepared foods, or in some cases any food. I would pass unless they can show you the ray eating
