yes they can climb up the sides , my motoro did it and i fortunatelly found her about 5 mins later , she is alive and happy again , but make me buy eggcrate to make a cover.

I've had them come out the top and spit water at me (i take it one of them is my old male john) I've seen my old pair just kinda swin arround @ the top with half there body out heard glass tops bounce but never seen them jump... I would put some type of cover over the tank plus if its glass tops they will help hold heat in too.....
talk about a wet dream...
a few years back. I had a 15inch henlei in a 220. Well I was gone on a fishing trip. And I get a call from my GF, she had stopped by my house to get something, And she was just walking down the hall. And saw something on the floor. Well she turned on the lights. BAM huge henlei on the floor.. She called me freaking out.. then I'm freaking out.. lol Well she ray and got a pizza pan and scooped the ray on there.. Next she dumped it in the tank. the ray didn't move for a few hours. She said she thought it was dead.. So now I'm really freaking out!!!! Well i told her to just cover the tank. I got home like hours later to see a happy active henlei! she said it was dry on the floor. So I have no clue how long it was there for! Still doing great till this day
