The "Hystrix" they're listing isn't a Hystrix - you can tell from the picture but if it was a Hystrix, it'd be twice the price or more. Jeff Rapps has 'em listed at US$250 each.
The "one male one female" Retic another guy ordered from them turned out to be two males.

Think hard about using Aquabid for rays without at least checking in on the ray forum here to see if any given seller will actually be selling you what you're looking for. A couple of the ray sellers that sometimes post on Aquabid are guys who post in the ray forum - these are the guys you want to be talking to.

A bad first experience getting the wrong ray from the wrong people would really suck.

i agree. i dont have alot of option though. going to call out to my lfs tomorrow and figure out his stock list stuff. ive been talking to him a couple of times but hes up to his eye balls in work the past couple of weeks so its understandable. and my only problem is where im so far away. most people (everyone that ive talked to) will not ship up to Canada, only US. And I can't afford to drop an arm and a leg on shipping for just 1 ray kinda thing. because to get it shipped from most places in the states im looking at over $200 for the shipping alone. which is what it would be if i ordered from TFD except he has most of the things on my stock list and its still only $200 ish to get the shipping on all the things on my list. So that puts me in a bind .. my main concern/problem is the money part. but i guess it depends on what my LFS says tomorrow.
