That's a good question but someone out there will have to answer. I'm a ray newb. I mean I definately see a chain or marbled pattern but I don't know if something else sets them apart.. anyone?

Yeah, rays are special... despite the higher than usual maintenance required.

yes I believe they are marble motoro and most likely from columbia.

This is the first time I have successfully gotten both of them to eat shrimp until they are swelling. The big guy had eaten it here and there but the smaller one had not even tried one piece. Well they just got done eating a lot. Enjoy...

They are babies... I would say to the best of my estimating abilities the bigger guy is about 7" across and the smaller one is about 6" both eating like maniacs. I hope I can grow mine out like yours buddy...
