female pearl just had a poop and it looks like a seethrew string of slime.

there all off colour and im hoping its due to the ph jumping from 6.6 to 7.2.
the poop looks just like a string of slimecoat floating around the tank.

there off there food and being very very fussy. non have lost weight but there no were near what ide concider active. this has happend since i treated for paracites, hence the huge waterchanges to make sure its been removed from the water.

I'm going to add to this since it belongs in the same topic -- does anyone have a pic of what normal ray poop looks like? Everyone keeps saying it's black but I have yet to see my ray produce anything like that. Also, how often do they poop?
Dont really have a pic right now, but its black/brown, and it looks like a curled up nightcrawler. I've seen them poop 30 minutes after being fed, can't really tell how often they crap though, my filters do a pretty good job LOL.

mine normall poop a light brown solid curly string, looks like and earthworm/night crawler like already stated.

mine used to poop alot as i feed alot but since they have went off there food its few and far between at the moment.

ive always been told that if there poop dosent look normal it could show what is wrong.

with my rays now being like this im hopeing some one might be able to help me out with what to do next.

at the moment my water is as good as it gets, i mean its asclose to perfect as its ever going to be. ive added polyfilter just to make sure theres no other contaminents in the water. lights are off. asll other fish are fine.
female marble motoro is back to normal feeding fine and active.
all 3 pearls are very quiet, feeding but not as well as they should be and trying to hide, this is not right as its happend over night.

6 days ago. i treated with wormer plus. about 30 mins after i finished adding the treatment the male started to shed his slim coat pritty badly. so i did 50% wc there and then. the next day i came home from work and all the rays were dead still in the tank not moving and breathing really slowly. i did another 50% wc at 4pm then i did at 25% at 9pm then since then tues, wed, thurs i did 25% a day.
i did 50% friday added pollyfilter.

water has tested perfect since i set up the tank never had a problem with quality.

first time ive ever used a treatment in a ray tank other then melafix and salt. only used it because on the wensite is says 100% ray safe and i phoned the place and they told me he uses it with rays all the time and its 100% safe.

NEVER again will i use a treatment. i call them told them it has messed up my rays and he said its not the tretament, i told him i wasent going to argue i just wanted to get the stuff out of my water. he recomended wc`s and carbon but i already did all that and polyfilter is way better then carbon.

my pearls are CB the only reason i did the treatment is because of the male MM he was doing great then all of a sudden just took a nose dive. started feeding great then just refused to eat and started spinning round and round. then stiiting for an hour or 2 then spinning again.

as far as i can tell the best thing to do is leave them alone, waters great not adding any other treatment ever again so nothing else i can do.

If everyone else was okay before the treatment I would continue keeping the water in great condition, and then if the MM is showing other signs I would separate it and treat it by itself. Thats really all I can think of, but maybe others can chime in.
