Ray question about temperature

i think it depends on the condition of the ray.

if its fat, bigger, and healthy just dump him in

if its a pup or in bad condition then i would slowly change the water from 77 to 83 in about an hours time

Thanks for all the help guys. Just talked to my friend and the ray is doing good. It devoured live blackworms like there was no tomorrow.....

I do not think temp is a big issue. I drip for other reasons, the ph, quality, harness, levels of metals etc could all be veer different...drip or changing cups at a time do the same thing for me.
