ray question?

I would like to get a pair of 6"motoros, but im not sure how long they could be housed propperly in my tank (6x2 footprint), untill i get something bigger. I would eventually like to get them to breed. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

they should be ok in a 6x2x2ft tank for about a year max

increase the width by about a foot and id say your ok

Width is more important than height, if you are planning on breeding i would consider 2 females as motoro males are very agressive and have heard alot of horror stories.
