Anyone know how big a P. Motoro sp. Peru 'Yepezi' gets? There is one on Aquabid and I was curious of how big it does get.

Aqualog says it reaches 40 cm which converts to about 16 inches diameter .

You sure? I know there is many species of this ray, but this is the smallest of them all.

Disregard my last post. I breezed through the first post and didn't realize you were enquiring about a subspecies of p.motoro. But yes, 'yapezi' is the smallest variant. I've never seen a 16". Biggest I've seen to date was maybe 12-13" + tail.

I know Motoro gets up to 23" wide (have seen it). That is why I was curious about this ray instead. Very nice indeed.
