tank hase been set up for 2 months started it with 50 gold to cycle and add bio support every water change after it was done cycling . salt i add to all my tank when doing water changes

OK I added a 100 ghost shrimp into the tank after work today and thry were eating , thank goodness I was worried . I was going to get blackworms to but they were out of them . I hope black worms are cheaper than ghost shrimp cost me $33.oo buck for 100 ghost shrimp .

When you do get the black worms be sure to turn off your filter during feeding because they will get caught in the media and reproduce and then you'll have a whole lot of stupid little wiggly worms in your tank, they kinda look like mosquito larvae.

Good to hear they are eating already.

You can varried their diets with blackworms or MP

When I had a picky ray I offered blackworms mixed with krill. Eventually it got the idea that krill was food too. Now it's chowing on almost anything. You might want to test your ammonia to make sure adding them didnt cause a spike.

Wow, I guess it pays off to have a friend that ownes their own fish store... I pay $60 for 600 ghost shrimp..... As far as the price of black worms... it is better to buy larger quantites, I get 1lbs for $26 and the little 1 tablespoon portion is $1.99 Just keep them in a tupperware container in the fridge and rinse them everyday till the water runs clear.

It all depends on the fine grade of the foam i wouldn't risk it though because there a b**** to get rid of.
