Ray Tank Size Help!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
For the amount you would spend on a new super large tank, you can build an indoor tank/pond even bigger with filtration, and spend less money.

look at your basement and ask yourself how much space can I give up for an amazing tank. That is how big you should go. Budget and build your dream. Go bigger now and you will not be redoing it a few years. Like I am looking at doing.

you just want to think what size would make you say wow
and then go alot bigger.

theres some food for thought

Them rubber maid things are a waste of time if you ask me

I think it's nice to have a tank no matter what it's made out of glass acrylic ply as long as it's up at normal tank viewing level I would hate to keep bending down on my knees all the time to look at my fish

Yup, I agree. Viewing rays from the side view of a glass tank is totally different experience form a FGT or pond. The tank allows for more interaction and allows you to observe the ray better. If something goes wrong. It's also easy to tell with a side view.
