come on guys

ade posted a thread asking about rays and bass and got no responce

has anyone seen p.bass go for rays eyes

i was around his place yesterday and did notice one bass hoovering over the rays eyes more than i felt good with

the bass are faily new to the tank but it scares the rays enough to pull there eyes in

any help would be good

thanks its not a mix i have done

Thanks for feedback guys... i think im the only one that this combo wont work ...

Bass have been in tank for 10 days now.
And my wife noticed today when I was at work...she said the bass snapped at the rays eyes.
So I came home. Watched for 2 hours. Shes wasn't lieing.
The bigger bass snapped at eyes twice.
No damage done... but im gonna risk it.. plus im on holiday for 7 days in 3 weeks.

The braver it gets.. the more potential for it to go wrong.the smaller bass 9-10 inch.. shows no interest in the rays what so ever.

Im still interested to get more feedback.

Or is it just me. :(:(:(

tbh i was thinking about getting some bass . which type of bass do you have thats snapping at the rays eyes ?

the rays eyes could easily look like a food item to lots of fish so maybe if the bass are aquainted from being small it might work better ?

i rembmer i had a silver aro and when i added a marble motoro the silver didnt like it and went for the ray alot. i got rid of the silver to prevent damage to the ray but i couldnt say if it would have calmed down.

ive seen lots of ray pics with bass in but i have no idea which type the bass were . maybe some types of bass work beter than others ?

just remember that in the Amazon everything eats everything else.
These combinations are all fine..........until they aren't.
