my leo's breed once but have'nt seen any action since
i know they usually breed right after there first litter but mine have not done much since.
any ideas water temp has been cooler since i put them in the bigger tank thats the only thing i can think of as far as anything different and there in a bigger tank??
any thoughts appreciated

Brent,

Any change in tank, tankmates, food, etc. could cause them to stall. It is possible that they bred and she did not become pregnant.

My motoros have kicked out litters every 100 days for a period of time and then they go through a drought of six months or so with nothing.

I would bump up the water temperature to the 84 degree range and increase the amount of live foods. Crayfish and earthworms are always a good choice. You may be able to collect your own crays.

I would not worry about it much. They will do it again (I have my fingers crossed for you).

Good luck,

Colin

thanks colin, exact reply i was hopeing for
i will bump up the temp,

I totally agree with Colin. Could just be taking a break. Leos (the ones I've had) aren't the great breeders that others like motoros are.

Regardless, we're pulling for you!
