how big is the female?

Guessing 16-18" across. I tried to wrangle her to get a measurement and she took the tote right out of my hands twice. She's strong.

This is as close to an accurate measurement as I can get.

The egg grate is 19" across.

Thanks! It' amazing how curious they are. I tossed a hippie golf disc in there the first time and after just a day they pushed it around in there so much it wore all the writing right off the top of it. The egg grate was similar, they alll just swarmed it the entire time it was in there. They seemed cautious though as there was only a couple that actually went completely onto it. Works for measuring though.....LOL

Sounds like there's a possibility that these things may be leaving the MFK community, so If anyone's even remotely intrested please get ahold of me ASAP. $875 for the pair......

So there's been very little serious intrest in these things. Is it economy or is the price too high? I've said I'm willing to take offers but still no intrest. Is this girl just too big for most? I'd be very intrested to hear some feedback. I need to sell these things and I'm just curious what I have to do to make that happen?

A) 2 litters, assuming the first one is small.

Q) How long do I have to wait till they are mature?
A) 47 minutes or less. (No waiting required, they are ready to go)

Q) Who wants to breed these things?
A) I don't know. They're still in my pond awaiting a new owner.

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be an issue to ship them through a profesional. I've done it in the past. If they need to be shipped I'll make it happen...
